Services
The Bay Area Children’s Association provides treatment for all mental health issues including: depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, impulsive behavior and others. All treatments are based on research findings. The individual client and family choose the treatment option(s) that best fits their lives (based on multiple personal factors). Treatment then commences. If success is not achieved within an appropriate timeframe, alternate treatments (changing therapy or medication) are discussed.
At all times, the family is kept informed of current progress.
Treatments delivered at the Bay Area Children’s Association consist of psychotherapy and medication management services. The goal is to add other services in the future, including psychological testing, speech therapy, occupational therapy and school support services.
